4. Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data

4.1 Purpose of Processing
Personal data is processed for the following purposes:
• Collecting pre-registrations for the ThisCussion service launch
• Notifying about the service launch and availability
• Service-related communications and newsletters
• Service development based on geographic distribution of interested users

4.2 Legal Basis
Processing of personal data is based on consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). By pre-registering, the user gives consent to the processing of their data for the stated purposes.

The register contains the following data:
• Name
• Email address
• Country
• Registration timestamp

6. Regular Data Sources
Data is collected solely from the registering person through the pre-registration form.

7. Data Disclosures
Data is not disclosed to third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be transferred to trusted service providers (e.g., email service, cloud services) who process data on our behalf in accordance with data processing agreements.

11. Data Retention Period
Pre-registration data is retained until the service launch and for a reasonable period thereafter to notify registered users about the service availability. If you do not register for the actual service, your data will be deleted within 12 months of the service launch. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting dpo@thiscussion.com.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy. Significant changes will be communicated by email. We recommend reviewing this policy regularly on our website.
